On Monday, October 7th, Franca Mulligan, accompanied by Mia Toschi, the Executive Director of the Foundation, attended a tribute concert honoring Gerry Mulligan at the Eastman School of Music at Rochester University.
In the summer of 2019, Mrs. Mulligan donated Gerry’s music library to the Eastman School, where it will be available for study and will be played by the students. It had been agreed by the School and Mrs. Mulligan that there would be an annual concert of Gerry’s music and this event on October 7th was the first such tribute.
The Eastman Chamber Jazz Ensemble was led by Director Jeff Campbell, featuring Scott Robinson on Baritone Saxophone and Harold Danko on Piano.
