In 2022 The Gerry & Franca Mulligan Foundation awarded a scholarship to the MYO Mondaino Youth Orchestra located in Rimini Italy.
For the past two years the orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Michele Chiaretti, has performed a program entitled “MYO meets Mulligan” at festivals throughout Italy. With this program the MYO has won the 1st Prize at the Città di Pesaro International Music Competition, an Innerwheel Rosa Award by Malatesta Riccione, and the honor for educational, musical and cultural merits from the Province of Rimini.
